Electronics

There are two key parts of the electronics package. The servo amplifier and the A/D - D/A board.

	Servo Amplifier I plan to use the servo amplifier board out of an old HP tape drive to drive the motors for this project. I am not sure what I will use for the power supply yet.

	A/D - D/A board There isn't much to say about this. I believe the board provides a reference voltage for the position pots, and two inputs. All that leaves is boosging the output voltages so they will drive the motors. It would be nice if there was enough bandwidth on the A/D channel so we can monitor Motor voltage, motor current, and position.
