Assembly process for the elevation drive.

Here are all the parts for the elevation bearings, and the worm gear. Note the stacks of three parts that comprise the thrust bearings.

Note the needle bearings already inside the elevation opening.

Install the first race.

Apply a complete layer of grease to the first race, then the bearings.

I missed a few pictures here. Note that there are two gears, one for the drive and another for the position pot. Above the position gear is a plate for the limit switches. The worm drive and motor are an assembly.

Add the left side limit switch bracket.
